We specialise in Large Parties from 5 to 52 person for Lunch - Pre Theatre - Dinner, including private hire for your function only for the entire venue. We offer our All Day Set Menu (for Lunch - Pre Theatre - Dinner) everyday, at the same price, no expensive Group Menus or Hire Charges or any extra charges. 2 Course Lunch from £19.95, Pre Theatre & Dinners £24.95

Welcome to Sannio Glasgow - Italian Restaurant and Cocktail Bar on Elmbank Street, Glasgow.

Based in the heart of Glasgow city centre, Sannio's offers you authentic Italian dining, just a stone's throw away from the King's Theatre in Glasgow.

Located on Elmbank Street, between Bath Street and Sauchiehall Street, this makes us the best location for those special gatherings with family and friends, as well as the perfect choice for your pre theatre dining before the show.

We are an independent, family run basement restaurant. Handrails are provided for those with mobility issues, so please take note of this when booking. Our 'B' listed building does not have a lift for wheelchair access. We like to be as transparent as possible to allow you to have the best dining experience.

Did you know we are one of the closest restaurants to Glasgow’s famous King’s Theatre, parallelly across the road?! We’re less than 30 second walk from door to door.

If you’ve booked an upcoming shows, make sure to book your table at Sannio Italian Restaurant well in advance as our pre-theatre sittings fill up very fast.

FAQs

  • Pre theatre timings on busy days are 4:45 & 6:15pm, please email us on info@sannio.co.uk to check any other availability in between

  • Yes we do on our Set Menu, anything from 10 person to 50 person. Semi private area up to 20 person, fully Private Dining for more than 20 person on certain days & times (not during busy shows). We can also offer drinks packages, Cocktail Masterclasses, Hen Party, Wedding, Birthday surprises. Just emails us on info@sannio.co.uk

  • Table turn around for 90 minutes is only on very busy pre theatre times (ie 4:45pm table is back by 6:15pm) and most other times we are very flexible. You can email us to make sure you have an extended time on the other times.

  • Yes, of course we do, with plenty of choices on starters - mains - desserts, including gluten free & dairy free Vegan Brownie with Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream to Pastas, Risottos, Steaks, Chicken, Fish, Bruschetta, Pate and much more.

  • We are open on the days that The King’s Theatre is open, as well as Fridays & Saturdays. We are closed for our annual holidays for 4 weeks in summer and 2 weeks in Winter. Please check our online availability on our website or email us on info@sannio.co.uk
